How We Work

Survivor Leadership

We believe that CSA survivors are best placed to lead the change we want to see, with wisdom, insight and expertise forged from our lived realities.

Grassroots Community

Communities make change. Embracing a DIY ethos, we are not waiting for existing systems to deliver justice and fairness. History demonstrates the power of grassroots movements to drive social change towards greater equality.

Inclusion

All spaces are ours to claim. We boldly insist that CSA survivors, as a marginalised community, have a right to be seen, heard and included in art, culture and society.

Reclamation

Our work says, ‘The point of surviving is to live’. We make work that reclaims what has been taken from us and builds courage, connection, aliveness and presence.

Resistance

We resist the dominant culture that tidies away our pain, our history and our existence. We will not cooperate in our own oppression. We not only reject existing structures – we are building the world we want to see.
