Beyond Trauma-Informed
Beyond Trauma-Informed is a specialist training series designed to strengthen inclusive, accessible and safer practice for professionals working with adult survivors of child sexual abuse.
CSA impacts an estimated 1 in 6 adults.
Anyone working in a public-facing role is already engaging with survivors – whether they know it or not.
Our CPD-accredited training is for dentists, health and social care professionals, counsellors and psychotherapists.
We also offer courses for arts practitioners working with survivor communities, trauma narratives and people with mental health needs.
Participants will gain deeper insight into the lived reality of CSA survival, access barriers, power dynamics and communication, alongside clear, achievable strategies that strengthen safety, trust and meaningful engagement.
While tailored to working with CSA survivors, the training offers highly transferable skills relevant to supporting adults with mental health needs or anyone impacted by trauma, abuse and interpersonal violence.
All training is led by CSA survivor artist and activist Viv Gordon, and grounded in lived experience, research and cross-sector practice.
Courses can be delivered live online or in person.
